Think I will have to Retry Metformin.

Hi to all

I Think I will have to Retry Metrofmin With Regard to Weightloss my bs is 25 now so I will have to give it another go so hopefully
The doctors will re perscribe it as my wight or bs not going down I will let you know when I've tried it again.

I've had my angiogram done didn't go as planned could still feel pain numbness n tingling ect and I also had chest pain and tightness breathlessness so came out having been given morphine with mask on.

Going back next Tuesday for my results well I know it's not my arteries they R not blocked.

All that just for it not to be what they thought back to the drawing board.

It must be a bit worrying that the angiogram didn't go as planned- I hope they are able to work out what is causing your symptoms.

Metformin is shown by studies to be beneficial for the cardio vascular system bur its effect on both weight loss and blood sugar is small. so will hardly dent your 25 BS figure. You may be offered one of the new meds such as Victoza or Ozempic which will give stronger results in the weight loss and BS departments. Sorry to hear your angio was such a washout, I hope they make progress in the diagnosis this coming year. As an ex-smoker my angio confirmed my DX of furred up arteries.
