Hi Gran1....I've joined the site but the only post I've put on is my original one. However in the months since I joined I'm now happy [emoji57]ish to say I've had a insulin pump fitted been a week and a half now and am trilling the freestyle Libre I'm on my way to sort of feeling a little better and am so hoping this is the case and so are my family and diabetic team who have been as frustrated as I have in fact my DSN says he's been doing this job for over twenty years and I am his most difficult patient to date (wow that made me feel better) ha know what he means. It's still very early days and hopefully this works if not I've already been asked to start thinking about 1.a pancreas transplant. 2.Stem cell treatment both of which scare the beejesus outta me. But I am hopeful I was what I have now is going to be good for me. I've been signed off work for two years and I really want to get back. I'm still trying to work my way around the carb counting have the book carbs and Cals and have an app on my phone I shall ask my DSN about course I think I would benefit a lot from them. I too hope things get better for you also [emoji4]
