im a type 1 diabetic and have been for 2yrs.logged on this site yesterday and im really impressed with the info and feedback,its great knowing other people have gone through the same problems as me and sharing their advice .l replied to a few posts and you know it felt good ,because its our chance to talk about our concerns and how we feel .after your diagnosed people dont realise how hard it is to accept you have diabetes and how much it changes your life .and l know myself personally l dont talk much to people about my diabetes coz you feel as if your boring them.so this is a great place for me to come and get advice and if l can give some advice ,so well done to this forum xx :lol:

I agree Anne - I have had type 1 for 34 years now and it has been such a relief to find people who understand. It has helped me get back on track and helped me to help my kids as well - they both have type 1 too.

I don't know where I'd be without it - everything I've learned about diabetes has been from this forum. I seem to ask more questions than I answer but when I'm a bit wiser hopefully I can re-pay the favor and offer advice to others.

ive learnt more from here in the last 9 mnths than my dr taught me in 4 yrs,which has left me with a great drop in hba1c
