Hi All,

Just seeing if anyone else has this problem i am having in this weather - Most nights i am woken having a hypo (well 3.1) when before i was waking up in the morning at around (10.0) nothing has changed if anything i am eating more before i go to bed to try and stop these hypos.
I have been diagnosed for a year and a half and finding i am more confident in the foods and iam deffienlty eating more naughty foods like burgers chips etc.

is it the heat that is causing these hypos?

im on lantus 20 units a day and normally about 5-6 units of novarapid before meals but recently have been having 2-3 units and still getting lows.

thanks in advance.

Col

More than likely Col if the night hypo's have just started since it got very warm, try reducing your basal insulin by a unit or two to see if this helps.
