Threads disappear

Ironically I have not seen the problem on this thread. Maybe it is because I am using my PC rather than tablet or phone.

It is my short cut on my computer. As soon as it opens I press the Recent Posts tab.I rarely use the New posts one.

being serious now. there is a recent posts button at the top of the list...?

I have a short cut icon on my computer that I have had years. It takes me to New Posts. I have no idea how to access New Posts from the forum itself because I never use it. I move from New Posts to Recent Posts straight away using the tab. One of these days I will add a Recent Posts short cut and save myself the bother.

Ahhhh.... Right! If you hit "recent posts" the "new post" option comes up in a tab of 3...

Actually that's a bit counter-intuitive to select a tab you are already on. There should be another tab called Recent Posts next to the New Posts one.
When I use the browser on my phone or tablet it works the opposite way. The menu only has New Posts and there is a tab for Recent Posts.
That's solved it thanks everyone!
