The recent hypo that @Robbieswan went thru is a good case in point. Too much carbs reduction too soon without the awareness of insulin dosage and response is dangerous. There is really no hurry for newbies to rush towards zero carbs. A step wise reduction is a good step forward to allow adaptation and long term sustainability to get maximal benefits for all.
As was other advice given to the same new member you mention - namely to view the buffet food he asking about as poison, and to skip meals to get his bs down. Both comments were highly irresponsible and inappropriate, while the first comment is untrue. I share @pleinster's current concerns about this forum
