I went to see my podiatrist today as apart from getting bad winter hacks I'd developed an infection in the big toe of my right foot.
While she was removing the infection and cutting away round the hacks she commented on my lack of flinching. She then asked if I had tingling anywhere in my foot. I told her I'd had tingling on and off for the past fortnight in the big toe and it's neighbour on my left foot.
She suggested contacting the clinic the next day as she was concerned I had neuropathy.
Now, the clinic and podiatry checked my feet 4-5 months ago and commented on how well they were. My Bg has been constantly between 5 and 6.3.
I thought the tingling was due to the weather and the lack of flinching due to the fact I've had eczema all of my life and have gotten pretty used to having parts of my skin removed.
Thoughts?
