Hi everyone can any one help please....I would like to stock up on a few tins of fruit but which ones I am unsure...I don't live near shops and need a few in the cupboard.... Thank you for any help in advance

I'd make sure they are in juice as opposed to syrup. Sorry, I don't know specifics of brands or types of fruits but you should keep an eye on the carbs/sugar content - I'd imagine some could be quite high.

Thank you I will start to have a look for fruits in juice...need some as a back up.....I do buy fruit all at once once a week so having. Few tins in the house would be great....thank you for replying very grateful I have found the jelly :)

Hi Kat,

I eat tinned fruit in juice as opposed to syrup. Make sure you drain the juice off before you serve yourself. You will find that the dearer ones have more fruit in.

Hi Catherine thank you I will try that tip....what a good idea...looking forward to getting some tinned fruit now..
Thank you. Best wishes kat

I find peaches are OK, fresh pears are not too bad carb wise but I don't like the tinned ones. I find the tropical ones, pineapple etc tend to be higher in carbs too.

Oh and I find it easiest to deel with one fruit at once, tinned fruit cocktail makes me

As someone else mentioned frozen berries are nice to have in, I try and stock up when they are on offer.
