Try asking for an Accu-chek Aviva Expert meter as this would help you decide your doses. This meter is good for this. Sometimes I over-rule the advice it gives me, but it is usually right.

You have to ask your DSN for the Expert meter, they'll likely ask that you come in for a training session on how to use the meter and to input aall your data, but as @lizdeluz says its a great little meter to help you work out your bolus doses.
