Welcome to the forum Twinks , sorry the reason I asked what type you was , was to try and find out a little bit more about you and why you're fed up?

I'm type 1 too , and have been for nearly 7 years and I thought I was still a baby diabetic lol , what are you finding difficult and why are you tired ? is it just in general or high / lows etc ? love to hear more so can try and advise :)

I know what you mean, would sometimes be nice to have a day off from some people too, specifically those who "know all there is to be known" about diabetes because they read it in the Daily Mail.

Hi, I know how you feel with other people commenting on pretty much everything, sort of feel like you can't do anything without someone commenting I am type one and I was diagnosed last August.

The funniest thing iv bin asked was by one of my friends she asked me if i passed out or anything happened to me which pen was my epi pen!! I told her to stay well away from my pens and to ring an ambulance of anything ever bad happens to me b4 explaining i don't have an epi pen

Yes i've had that Twinks, on a pump now but was always being asked how they should inject me if i passed out. Mind you even on the pump they still ask me which buttons they should press if i pass out (i've never passed out with diabetes in 38 years). Like you i tell them to just press the 9 three times on the phone ;-)

You'll get lots of support here Twink, we're all in the same boat x
