Just had my ninth Eylea injection for retinopathy and after each I immediately get sniffles and mild fever for a couple of days - I guess it's a response to the tissue damage.
This time the doctor was inexperienced and jabbed me in the retina, at least it felt like it, I had a sudden searing headache along the side I was injected, up to the back of my noggin. This time in addition to the fever, I also got sweats and began to smell ketones a couple of hours later! I'm low-carb but never had ketones >0.2, but it went to 1.2-1.5 for hours. This morning all back to normal. Any ideas?
