Whether you or anyone else 'wants' to be on insulin is not relevant here. Just do it and adapt and as xyzzy said, think about your family. Its not the end of the world but speaking as someone who has been on insulin for 23 years I am satisfied I am taking the best course of action for me. My life has adapted to the requirements but it has never stopped me doing anything and for the sake of my family I am doing all I can to make sure I can be here and support them for a while to come.</p></blockquote><p></p>
