Back in 2008 when I was first diagnosed with T2 I was desperate for information on this condition so I spent long periods surfing the internet and finding bits of info here and bits there. Eventually I stumbled on this site and was quickly welcomed into the fold. I learnt so much in such a short time that I've been grateful ever since. Many of the old friends I learnt from and chatted with seem to have dropped out but I still remember them and the help, advice and chats I had then. So in case any of them ever look in I would like them to know that they are still in my thoughts and that I wish them all a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. They include, among others, Sugarless Sue the moderator, Fergus, who created Fergus's bread and shared the recipe with us, Suzi, who moved with her family from Northern Ireland to Malta and asked my advice on living the expatriate life, Catherine Cherub, whose taste in music was uncannily similar to mine and can be found on this forum from time to time, Hanadr, who sadly passed on this year, Dennis who also travelled and had been to some of the places in California where we visited, and many more. If any of them ever look in and see this, I would love to know that everything's fine with you all. Drop me a PM if you prefer.
In the meantime all the very best from an ever grateful member of the forum.
