Had a delayed pancake day, 4 good thickness pancakes with lemon and sugar. Went amazing, went for a 60/40 extended bolus over an hour as I knew I would be eating all in one go. Made my own batter mix separately so I knew how much was there and that meant I had to eat it all no matter how full I was... no complaints there!
I will say, as a casual low carber, I do feel a bit sickly sweet now.
The starting high (below 7 mind) was me eating too much so i could drive as I was 4.3 just before I was about to But better safe than sorry.
