Hi all!

Hope you are all well.. :)

I was diagnosed end of November 15' I give myself 4 injections a day at the moment but these last few days I've been really interested in going on an insulin pump. Obviously there are pros and cons with everything but I wanted people's personal experiences changing from injections to a pump? I'm finding even though on the smallest thinnest needles I can get my hands on, I'm still really bruising and it's starting to get me down.

What's everyone's opinions on a pump?

Thanks guys

Alice xoxo

majority of people on the pump will tell you the same, they would never go back to mdi.

Pro's
less injections
Flexibility
Freedom
better controll

Cons:
Quicker dka - no long active insulin
Testing more often
anything you eat needs insulin - if it has carbs alwise you shoot up :]
