Excellent news, did you decide on which pump to go for?

Excellent news, did you decide on which pump to go for?

Thank you! :-) and not yet... I've got a week or so to think about it: my options are the omnipod, animas vibe or Medtronic veo... They're also trying to find out if they will be getting the Medtronic 640G for me; which is rather exciting...! :-)

I should know more about that by next week when I go back... Decisions decisions!! :-) :-)

Great news Artemis, very good to hear :)

I think the Medtronic 640g is now released as I was told at my pump clinic today I'm getting my 4 year old Veo replaced by the 640g in the next few weeks. You've got lots of deciding to do on which to go for, I've just got to choose the colour and it's official - I'm going........pink. Well, why not !!

Haha - thanks - and why not indeed @Flowerpot! I'm already looking at this! :D

- but - I do have to wait as my hospital doesn't have them yet.... they *think* they're getting some in April - but she won't know till she's had a meeting next week to confirm that they are actually getting them, and if so, how many.... so I gotta try not to get TOO excited about the 640G being a possible option - though it's kinda hard not to! :D

That's great news Artemis. Was it you who had the horrid experience after porcine insulin? There are two of you!

... Do you mean the awful hypo I had a couple of weeks back Lucy...? If so, yes - that was me... Is there someone else on porcine who had a similar experience recently...? :-)
