Toe nail seems seems to be partially unattached

Hello,

I've just noticed part of my left big toe nail isn't 100% attached to the nail bed. It doesn't hurt and I haven't lost any feeling in my feet, and have no other symptoms. Could this be related to my type 2? A few months ago I attended a call for newly diagnosed, and they said to pay particular attention to my feet

I'll call the doctor tomorrow, but wondered if anyone else has experienced similar?

Have had similar to one of my toes after injuring it. It has never fully grown straight since, but gives no problems. I see a podiatrist a couple of times a year, so if it needs an expert to trim it she can sort it and do diabetic feet checks at same time. You are right about it being important to lookafter feet.
