Too much levemir

Hey guys looking for a bit of quick advice..
I just realised i accidentally "double dosed" my levemir as opposed to a levemir and a novorapid injection..stupid i know but im worried about the low glucose impact as ive already had a 3.1 go down to a 2.6 and im worried my hypo supplies will run out before my blood sugar goes up..
Anyone else been in this situation what did you do?
Thanks in advance guys

hi there novowolf -- where are you( home , out , work etc ) -- and do you have anyone to assist overnight ??

eat a double portion of slow acting carb will help too

Yes, you're basically going to have to eat your way out of this. There's no reason to use hypo-stoppers, though. Depending on the dose, a few sandwiches should do it. Think of it as your chance to have a midnight feast. That's the only problem really. You need to wake up and test every couple of hours.

i'm at home by myself and no im by myself tonight.. Ive ate a sandwhich and crisps and that seems to have helped for now but it looks like its gonna be a long night of testing.. Thanks guys

@RuthW has it pegged -- just eat extra and set your alarm for 2am if you go to bed by 11am

you'll be fine -- LOL -- don't we all love being D !!! :D
