I take 4 x 500mg metformin a day. I'd already taken my 4 for today then about 2 hrs later took another one by mistake when meaning to take a paracetamol. what should i do?
well a bit scary. but don´t think it is really that dangerous... but you could risk be a bit low so.. I think I´d eat a piece of cake like 100 grams and just enjoy it but make sure not to do that mistake Again.
One suggestion could be to make your phone ring when to take the medicine, then you´ll be sure not to do it more times than the phone is programmed to do

Oooops! I feel pretty sure you won't com to any harm, although you may perhaps find your tummy goes a bit on-edge for a few hours.
I'd suggest you make sure you are well enough hydrated to help your body metabolise the Metformin. If you feel concerned, you could call 111 for official input.
