Anyone else had BGL elevated due to using topical steroids? If so then how long did the effect take to subside after discontinuation of the steroid?

I'm in a bit of a panic because I have got psoriasis and was prescribed some gel called Dovobet last summer. The consultant, my GP and the pharmacist are all well aware that I've got diabetes but no one bothered to tell me that this stuff is a corticosteroid and could (and did) raise my BG level. At the time I just assumed my BG going up was just one of those things (didn't realise it was connected to the gel) and it was a month or so after that I started LCMF and go my BG under control. My doctor discontinued Dovobet this morning - apparently it should only have been used for 8 weeks (not 8 months!) and I'm wondering when the discontinuance will affect my BG level. My problem is that it is under good control at the moment (due to a very low carb diet) so if it falls am I likely to hypo?
