111 called back...bloods now 16, with nothing to eat since 1pm.....they said if i go in they will only keep testing bloods, if i wait until morning more help.... unless i have big changes in how i feel....so fingers crossed it will be sorted tomorrow...

will do lm lucky that i work within care and im in work now and we have rapid response in the building, they have just said the same.

What's the more help that you'll get in the morning Nina? Are they saying go to A&E then, or some other help?
 
saying see dr in morning and go from there....tbh i dont know what will happen.....its the unsureness that im worried about, it seems no one can decide
 
Keep testing regularly tonight. Don’t eat any carbs, so no bread rice pasta potatoes sugar fruit etc, tonight. Just meat, veg and dairy including cheese and maybe nuts. Same in the morning before you see the gp. Eating any of these will just make it higher. If anything feels off or numbers go up do something about it whatever the time.
 
Oh and let us know how you go to tomorrow. Once you have a bit more info we can give you lots of support and guidance what the next steps will be and help get rid of some of the uncertainty. We’ll have lots of info for you soon.

hi dr went ok more bloods, put me on metformin and gliclazide one of each to start off with increase over 2weeks.... to 4 and 2 per day, have to take level around 7 times a day...appointment on 19 with diabetic nurse....so yep totally new and abit over my head..
