Hit a low today... woke up feeling pretty rubbish, I was out all day on Saturday at a do (a civilised one so no projectile vomiting!) so was pretty tired yesterday.
Woke up feeling quite rubbish (BS of 5.2), and had a 55 mile drive in front of me to go on an all day meeting, and I just couldn't face it, my wife begged me not to go as she said I looked so pale.
So, I called in sick, and explained. Now, two weeks ago I'd have done that journey without blinking, I've always been a bit of a machine when it comes to work (you know, the typical corporate action man
).
Having had to cry off that meeting, I felt like a total victim to this condition, and to be honest felt a bit defeated.
I have to confess, at the risk of being a big ponce, I had a bit of a cry.
Feel a bit better now, having eaten a bit (brown bread toast, eggs and bacon) and walked my daughter to school.
I then topped my morning off with a wander around Tesco's to find that there is hardly anything with low enough carbs...
