present American politics, un-asked for advice!
Hi All. Joan here - recent Menber to this Forum. I am 74, diagnosed Type 1 11 years ago and am on Nova Rapid - 5 ml X 3 times and until last week - Lantus 11ml at bed time. Hba is 50 my doctor seems happy with this, saya only 10% get it any lower but at my last appointment, he changed my Lantus to Toujeo, saying it should keep me even, prevent hyp[os? has anyone experience of this Insulin please? Results?
 
toujeo is an updated version of lantus and is meant to be a bit flatter in profile... just make sure to test a lot and if anything untoward report back to your doctor immediately...
