I have lost 30 pounds low carbing in that time and my A1c has gone from 10.4 to 5.8. There is a slight risk of DKA with it but I monitor my blood ketones every day and no problems. The other main side effect is thrush as this drug makes your kidneys excrete excess sugar. With the low carb diet this has not been an issue for me. It might be worth discussing it with your doctor. This is just my experience with it and I am not recommending anything.</p></blockquote><p></p>
