As a diabetic for 39 yrs with a couple of now pre existing medical conditions I tried the Insurance company endorsed by Diabetes .co.uk, PJ Hayman and their Travel Plus policy and was quoted an extortionate amount for a week in Egypt. I contacted Direct Travel where I was quoted a price 8 times less £45 with better cover, to myself and many other diabetics with possibly other ailments I think this may be an option worth considering for holiday insurance.
 
There are so many variables when it comes to insurance, especialy w hen you have pre-existing conditions.

Always good to know of another company who'll cover us, and it's always worth ringing around. Then ring around again.
