Hi. I use Saga partly because of my age (68) and partly because they are tolerant of medical conditions. The premium does go up with multiple conditions but worth a call?

We have travel insurance with our bank account (HSBC). I was sure they wouldn't cover me when I phoned them, or that it would cost me extra, but they were as happy as Larry! Even covered for extreme sports I think (not that ill be doing that any time soon!).

Hope this might help

Hi

For the last few years I've used AllClearTravel who specialise in insurance for folks with pre-existing conditions. I'm type 1 and never had a problem getting good rates from them. Last September for 8 days in Greece the premium was £21.

Their address is http://www.allcleartravel.co.uk/
