Hi, im currently on holiday in the US, six hour time difference. Ever since I landed my night time basal rates have changed completely. I was advised to just re-set the time to the local time when I arrived and it should all work lovely. Changed the time when I landed but my night basal rates have completely changed. Has this happened to anyone. Ive increased the insulin but im usually really sensitive at night so im a bit worried that it will suddenly change back to my usual sensitivity once my body gets used to the time difference. Does anyone have any experience with having issues when changing time zones?

Hi I've had my pump now for 2 1/2 years and travelled to the Philippines which is 8 hours difference, I've had to cut down on the insulin but apart from that no other problems, as soon as I arrive a change to their time, all I have to say make sure you take a letter from your hospital stating the medication you are taking also the name of the pump/glucose meter and all the equipment you need for the pump as some airports are more strict than others.
