Travel to USA

I'm travelling to the USA and Canada and wondered if I can charge my PDM using an adapter and USB cable.
Do I also need a transformer, given that the voltage is 110V there, or can the PDM be charged by a range of voltages?
Any advice gratefully received.

I do not know about the OP. The post says nothing about a holiday.
I travel frequently for work - it is definitely NOT a holiday.
