Can anyone advise what if any documentation I need when I am flying abroad, someone said you can get a card telling people you are type 1, is there anything else

You'll find a number of threads on this in Ask and Type 1 You need a doctors letter, insurance for a pre-existing condition, a copy of your prescription possibly, and to put your supplies in hand luggage packed appropriately for security
