Hey folks!
Basically I'm due to graduate uni next year around may-ish time (Hopefully!) And I am absolutely desperate to have a wee jaunt around the gold but I'm worried about how easy this will be with my diabetes? I've got the insulin pump (For about 4 months) So I'm still getting the hang of it all, but I was hoping there might be someone out there that's been there and done it and can put my mind at ease and get me to grab the bull by the horns and start planning it? Or maybe someone who has the same worries and we could speak together? :)

Hi,

I've travelled about a bit.. (In fact I'm taking off again tomorrow.) But not with a pump.. Planes tend to be a small issue.. (Air pressure)
Which in your case may give a slightly higher dose than thought due to expansion with cabin pressure.?
But there are ways round this....
Keep all you D stuff in hand luggage..

I've traveled to some hot countries in my time & still alive to tell the tale..
Plenty of practical common sense on here.. Back in my day I had to make it up as I went along.... Lol

Have fun..!
