Shifting timezones can play havoc with control, even the best-laid plans are difficult to integrate with your body clock. It will depend on the type of therapy you're on, which way you're going etc. The only advice I can offer is test regularly. Your DSN may be able to guide you with specifics for your regime.
Every time I've been to Australia I always walked through the "Red" channel and declared my needles, a bit tongue-in-cheek perhaps as my motivation is purely to avoid queueing with 500 other munters in the "Green" channel. Saves a good hour sometimes. BUT the customs officer always thanks me for being so conscientious or words to that effect!
