Hi all
I was diagnosed type 1 in June 2010 and have been in honeymoon period since, but now I am going to Bali, Indonesia for a year, leaving around June, and desperately trying to find information on supplies of Insulin (Humalog & Lantus) and contour testing strips, does anyone know where I can find this information/Supplies, also any tips on staying in the tropics and Diabetes management.

Best source of advice about supplies of insulin, testing strips etc are the companies who make them.
You'll need some means of keeping insulin cool. I've always been able to find a fridge to use, by asking hotel / guest house / restaurant owners, with a small stainless steel vacuum flask for journeys, filled with cooled water. Many people recommend Frio pouches, but I reckon they are expensive, and people have reported problems if they overinflate, plus they offer limited physical protection against knocks.
Get all suitable insurance, recommended vaccinations and malaria tablets, like anyone else.
