Treatment crossroads

Diagnosed type 2 6 years ago, initially on meds but after low carbing I went down to 1 metformin a day, 18 months ago my bg levels started to increase for no reason & despite eating less than 20gms carbs per day I am now averaging between 10-12 mol during the dayI've had my meds increased & have been on 80mg of gliclazide for about 12 months & 6 months ago I was also put on Dapaglilflozin, still no improvement, due for my next blood test on friday & I have got to the point where something needs to be done but I dont know what, all the different meds scare me when I look at them, due to see the nurse the week after but I know if I need to change my meds I will need to book an appointment with my GP but I just dont know what to say to him

So sorry to learn you are having a tough time. I hate seeing unanswered posts as we are a support forum after all.

I was looking back at your oldest posts as I think I remember your user name from my early days of reading the forum around my diagnosis of pre-d. I would recommend you reread your early posts too.

You were sent to hospital for a c-peptide test quickly. Did they do any other tests at the time relating to diabetes type?
