Type 2 Tremors and high blood sugar

Hi everyone.
I'm off work at the moment with anxiety/stress due to some issues going on in my life right now. I'm type 2 and on metformin and sitagliptin. Recently my gp changed my metformin to slow release due to tummy issues and where they have helped with the tummy issues I now find that my levels are higher than they have ever been. I'm experiencing all the symptoms of low blood sugar but my levels are 16 which is really high for me. Do you think the symptoms are from the stress and that's pushing up my levels and any ideas how I manage this. I'm really struggling at the min . Thankyou X

Yes stress will probably be a big factor. Yoga/Meditation I have read can help.

Hello,

I am type one, but I also sometimes mistake my high levels for lows ! I will feel shaky and faint, i think its something to do with the adrenalin, but I quite frequently feel this, do you have a blood tester and test your levels? I have so many times nearly treated for a hypo and tested and realised its not at all.

Always tends to catch me out to because I'm so good at recognising the feelings!!

feel free to message me if you want to ask any questions :)

xx
