I'm having some trouble with my tresiba and wondering if anyone has experienced adverse reactions or weight gain with it?

I've gone up from 20 units to over 60 units, my bg has not stabilized (it's actually worse) and I gain a few kgs with each increase. My novorapid also seems less responsive, and I have ultimately ended up having to increase it as well.

My doctor is adamant the tresiba can't cause weight gain, only novorapid can, but my experience is that the weight gain was directly linked to the tresiba increases, I would only increase my novorapid after the fact as my bg got higher and rapid seemed to work less.

I have a bad reaction to glargine type insulins, and I am not sure what other options are available here,

this link maybe useful (insulin profiles) fairly large list of insulins within that. and can see their 'rough' active times alongside profiles.

fiasp appeared to work faster and better for me than novarapid.

wondering where/how your injecting insulin. there are several sites can use. should be ensuring to rotate with space between. i was told to leave 1 finger inbetween injection sites and at least 2 fingers from belly button to help avoid scarring which can cause absorption to be not as effective. Can have more realestate using buttocks thighs alongside your stomach.
shows alternative sites.

regards weight increase what is your exercise routine like? weight can effect resistance, using exercise can reduce insulin needs. would speak to your health care provider after reading: https://www.nhstayside.scot.nhs.uk/OurServicesA-Z/DiabetesOutThereDOTTayside/PROD_263751/index.htm ensure to ask your healthcare team for advice on any dosage changes.
