just been told by Pharmacist he can't source Tresiba Penfill cartridges and has no news when he can get it!

Has anyone else had problems recently?

No and i work in a surgery - have you tried a different chemist as they often use different wholesalers?

We had a shortage of Metformin XR for over six months here in Australia a while ago. All good now though.

As @bobcurly said try another pharmacy.

I have 10 carts in my fridge so hopefully be OK for a bit.

Not heard about any shortage though.

I was suppose to have gone on tresiba recently but my consultant and health authority decided toujeo300 better for me. I wonder if suppliers were getting greedy?
I love toujeo300 anyway so no loss for me. A lovely smooth insulin and pen mechanism. No sting like levemir or insulatard. More like an oil than a water.

Have you tried asking for the flexpens? The only reason I ask is that it the Tresiba cartridges don't exist in the USA (at least to my knowledge). I wonder if it's the delivery device that they're running short on rather than the insulin itself.
