Due to the need of ever increasing amounts of Levimir I changed to Treshiba Degludec (1 x 30units).
The Treshiba great to start with, however it soon appeared that for me it only lasts approx 16 or so hours before my levels spiked and left me counter acting spikes by injecting more novo rapid - not ideal.
Other posts suggest changing injection time, however it doesn't make a difference - it just means the spikes occurs at different times.
I know they say Tresiba should only be take once a day, however I am tempted to split dose - any advice or experience would be greatly received

if you split your dose may have to increase the amount and if for example you take 18 split am 12 pm 6 and check bs level are normal before sleep

I take 34units Tresiba in the morning which will balance an evening low (as appears to peak after 8-10hrs) but a slight high tomorrow morning - obviously I will be speaking to DSN on next visit, however I would still be most grateful to hear from anyone on Tresiba with a similar understanding or experiences
