So I have had type 1 diabetes for 10 years and have recently been to the doctors for some stomach problems. Following a blood test it turns out my thyroid is a out (low) and there's a possibility I could have coeliacs disease. They've asked I retest my thyroid in a couple of months and I'm being referred to a specialist for a gut biopsy to potentially diagnose coeliacs. Interestingly my Mam was diagnosed with graves disease at a similar age too. Just wondering who else is dealing with multiple autoimmune issues and what tips and tricks you might have for managing a portfolio of conditions. My diabetes control hasn't been the best, it's taken a long time to come to terms with so want to try and approach what could be coming with a positive can do attitude! Thanks in advance!

Hi, Virtual hug coming your way. I haven't had diabetes for anything as long as you but I've had a rubbish thyroid for nearly 20 years... I suppose that sort of makes us level on poor body stakes.
The diagnosis is there. we've got it and now we have to work with the poopy hand we've been given.
Pills deal with the thyroid,
insulin and good diet deals with the pancreas
and for coeliac, I should imagine a low carb diet would do the trick too and is great for BG too so fingers crossed you'll be magic
Swim against that tide:)
