Now you two......I know about both of these things! ;):) This is my experience. I cut carbs and every time I wanted to binge eat I would eat something with no carbs or very low carbs, I didn't deny myself food when I wanted it. I didn't limit quantities, just carbs. I found the urge to binge stopped. Bingeing was no longer 'bad' or comforting and therefore not a good way of punishing myself/comforting myself. Food gradually started to become simply nutrition for me. Yes I have had blips. Starting counselling was tough and I don't like the term 'I fell off the wagon' then, because actually it was progress for me as I got to understand myself more, but for a while LCHF wasn't the most important thing to focus on.....but hey, I'm back now. :)
