Hi, started on the lowest dose for a week, then onto 1.5 at my three month check up my levels were exactly the same and I had GAINED 3lb! They put me on 3mg for a month, no change and now Im on 4.5. Only had one injection so far, but done feel any better for it. Loss of apatite has gone, legs still "burning". And my levels are still high, 10+ on waking and often 16 later in the day. Is this common? Im losing faith and hope.

Hi @NonnaJ , welcome to the forum.

Have you changed your diet in any way as well as taking medication? Would you like to share what you're eating usually? There might be a lot to win on that part if you like. :)

Different people with T2 chose different options but many of us reduced our blood sugars or even got into remission. As you expressed concerns about TruIicity and if you are interested let us know.

I went Keto about 3 years ago and it was fantastic. No meds and not even pre diabetic. But Covid happened, I got complacent and the carbs crept back in. Break is like Crack to me! I'm strict for so long, then it starts with small floured rolls, then its a toasty loaf, next thing Im inhaling a full tiger loaf before breakfast! Intermittent fasting and one meal a day is probably going to be me from now on. I feel T2 is seen as a harmless version of diabetes, underestimated, especially by me.
