Hi everyone I have been type2 since June 2016 I'm on Metformin and jardience think that's spelt wrong because my a1bc has gone up to 98 I have now been given truliclty injections once a week did first one yesterday I'm worried about the side effects but so far I just feel a bit nausea and getting tummy pains.I was wondering if anyone had any similar experience and advice.

Hi bunny,
I started Trulicity 10 days ago and I a can report no major side effects. I did have a bit of a uncomfortable stomach but that has passed. My BG where a little higher than normal to start with but that could also be because I found this forum and decided to go Low Carb. But today I'm feeling great and blood glucose levels has stabilized. Take care and give it time. Bill.

PS my worst side effect now is the bruise it leaves behind.

Thanks Billy 7764 that's reassured me I also have bruising were I injected but I guess once I get used to it will be okay.

I am on my fourth week of Trulicity 0.75 week 5 will be 1.50 .No major problems so far other then loose bowels once per week and slightly distended stomach on some days .bit off food this week .I'm on insulin as well. Readings have come down a touch at night to 13. My nurse says it won't be till my next hb1ac that she will make a decision on continuing it .Bit like Victosa which seemed to work initially but then tailed off . But feeling is I'll end up on Insulin twice a day as whilst I'm ok am I'm stuck between 13 and 15 at night
