I read an article that it is not advisable to take turmeric combo with ginger tea when you are taking metformin as it will have an effect of even raising your BS. May I ask if this is true?
I stumbled on that about 2 wks ago while surfing about the subject in google, however I can't seem to locate it again.
Anyhow, for 4 days I tried taking turmeric combo with ginger tea and metformin (glumet) after the evening meal. I took my bs first in the morning and it spike from my usual 105 to 131 mg/dl.
I like Ginger Tea most brands sold in Bangkok contain high sugar content was given some by well meaning Thai 34% sugar unless you make your own ginger tea check if you do recipe please.
Thanks for your reply. Actually the combo tea of turmeric with ginger I consumed are extracts of fresh ones using a power juicer. 7 teaspoons of them added to one glass of boiled purified water.
