Love Happy Valley, shame it's coming to a end and do hope they make a second series.

There's been a few complaints about it being too violent, I don't agree as it's trying to be a realistic drama, it's on after 9pm so can't see the problem.

btw Kat, don't say what happens as I won't get to watch it till Friday night.

Cheers Kat I can't wait, a nice glass of red wine and Happy Valley......bliss :D

Happy Valley - such a well-written drama.

But I flicked between Springwatch and the prog about rescue dogs (which made me cry) earlier.

Did you happen to see 'The secret life of cats' on ITV last night?:cat: It was so good with little baby 1 day old kitten,<3,helping humans and one cat even being best friends( and a guide) for a blind dog. Truly remarkable animals and one male called Hamish, went on lots of walk abouts with an arthritic leg as well and having his fur done at the hairdresser's, everyone loved him. Just brilliant:joyful:

Happy Valley is now on News night( BBC2) because of the violence in the programme especially against women ,with the writer in the studio. Must say I have never watched it.

Yes, very good! Also noted the comment about the anti-stress hormones released when stroking a cat and the alleged 30% reduction in risk of heart disease in cat owners. Simple message then, bu**er the statins/BP drugs and buy a cat!

It was just one crime drama too far for me (I don't doubt it was very good) when we were still watching Prey and catching up with the brooding Welsh crime series Hinterland on BBC4/IPlayer.

I think it was because it was the last episode and the violence on TV drama's ( especially against females) but that is so true in real life. Can't remember the writers name though, I was tired and was going off to bed.

The cat programme was truly amazing, so glad you managed to view it:)
