Type 1 and immunotheraphy for cancer treatment

Hopefully your oncology team will have someone with relevant experience to be able to discuss the potrntial issues.
I am not aware of any of our members who have had similar.
Wishing you well, and hoping you find answers to your concerns.

Thank you for your reply , I have discussed with the team but would like to discuss with someone in a similar circumstance..

My partner developed T1 as a result of immunotherapy! He has continued to have the immunotherapy treatment and manages his diabetes pretty well. He then also developed adrenal insufficiency and takes 5mg Prednisalone daily. He had to slightly adjust his insulin dose as its a steroid, but no real issues. I think the main thing for diabetics is that immunotherapy can trigger inflammation of pretty much anywhere which gets treated with steroids, which sends blood glucose high. His endocrine team have been great with advice on how to manage it all.
