Yes, I always have to be careful when it's hot.
I have a reduced basal pattern on my pump for holidays in hot countries.

Do some basal testing, but many of us type 1's do find we use slightly less insulin as the weather warms up and more when it starts to get cold.
 
What do you mean by basal testing


Checking that your background insulin (in your case levemir) is set at the right dose, when you don't eat and bolus your basal insulin should hold your bg levels steady without hypers or hypo's.
