Every night as a routine I take a blood sugar level and blood pressure reading which is normally about 135/85. Last night it jumped to 151/88 which is very unusual for me.I thought to use another blood pressure meter in the morning. However on testing blood sugar it was down to 3.3 mmol/L again really unusual for me.

Does this mean the higher (systolic) BP reading goes up when blood sugar is low?

Yep, apparently there is a link between hypos and raised BP - http://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamainternalmedicine/fullarticle/415868

I guess, at its very simpliest, stress raises BP right? When you're hypo, you're body is under stress. So it kinda makes sense that BP is going to go up. When you're hypo your body is working hard to show you its stressed so you can take the hint and get yourself in the kitchen so you can resolve the hypo. Then you'll be euglycaemic and, hopefully, BP will go back to normal.

I also find that when my blood oxygen percentage is high my blood sugar is low and visa versa.
Thats interesting. Does that mean you could predict a hypo using this method without taking a BG test.
