Type 1 since 1997

Hi All,

Was diagnosed with type 1 at the age of 7, now in my mid 20s and trying to improve lifestyle/control etc. After a rough couple of years my hba1c is now 9.7, at one point was near 13. As a child, my control was bang on and would regularly see hba1c results at or around 7, not so much now since being a 'free' adult so to speak!

Looking to get advice and tips on here to improve overall.

you're in the right place , glad to have you on board.

moving from young adult to being on your own in the big wide world is a tough time for all us D's

any specific issues or concerns post away and somebody will be along to offer support and advice.
