Type 1 Sport & Hydration

I'm Type 1 and regular train and play competitive sport. Can anyone offer any advice on how to manage sugar levels before, during and after? I find it to be hit or miss on getting it right. I tend to sweat more than most others and find hydration a particular problem even though I am fully hydrated beforehand.

Many thanks.

Alot of info on runsweet.com
But, best advice would be to record regular readings before/during/after activity. Also making a note of carbs eaten and insulin given. Obviously different activities will have different results. From your readings you wil then hopefully have an idea of what to do. Activity its one of the hardest things to adjust for. No straight forward answers as everyones different. Just try and learn what works for you.
