I'm 20 years down the line and have very good control but for a while I let it take over my life, I was obsessed, the libre didn't help with this.  I've since went back to good old finger pricking and with an hba1c of 41 I'm enjoying life and my 2 healthy children again.  I also need to add at this point that I try my best to eat good but I do love my carbs and as long as you can get your calculations right then life is for living!!!
