Type 1'stars R Us

My blood sugar seems to have behaved fairly well today. Went walking this morning, and took a banana, which I ate at various stages, and that kept the blood sugar fairly stable. Then the afternoon panned out quite nicely too.​
 
Sugars being stubborn today and despite corrections not budged much from 8.

Miscalculated evening meal carbs resulting in a scary low. Reading of 2.0, with active insulin on board. May have... definitely over treated it! Libre now showing 6.1 with a straight upwards arrow. ‍

Better set my alarms for the night! Looks like a 1am and 3am test for me.... :/

Morning all.

Fairly uneventful weekend, Chinese meal out had its usual ups but with using Aspidistra, much easier to control than when I was using Nova. Start of my 2nd week with it so still learning how it works

@Mel dCP Thanks of the tip was probably going to use isopropyl and cotton buds to clean the gunk off, works fairly well with getting the stick carp off the the sensor gets removed.

@slip Have fun in France.
 
I've had an experimental weekend food wise. In that I've been out a lot, decided to eat what I liked which was available to buy rather than carrying packed lunches both days, and insulinate accordingly. I enjoyed my egg mayonnaise sandwiches, my Burger King Veggie burger and fries, and pre-North Wales walking banana and walnut loaf cake at Cafe Nero.

All I can say is - it's fine for me occasionally, but today I revert to what has now become my normal. By mid-afternoon yesterday, I was feeling distinctly horrible with the excessive (for me) carbs of a grainy variety and ended up having an afternoon nap of the "I feel horribly high" variety rather than the "My feet are protesting at too much walking" variety! In the latter circumstance, they make their feelings known loudly and tend to make falling asleep more tricky!

This morning, I feel much better and am off shopping to stock up on my more usual supplies. My blood sugars and stomach will thank me! As will anyone else who comes across me in a grouchy mood as a result of less than ideal for me eating.
 
Woke with a 5.9 yay....
Its a big yay too as yesterday I did everything I shouldn't and don't normally do.
Huge fry up for breakfast bacon eggs sausage waffles beans 3 toasts.....
Then spent the afternoon watching football with not an ounce of energy used!
We thrashed Huddersfield 6-1 and played well so I decided to snigger at uniteds efforts and blow me they were worse than I thought and they lost! laugh out loud I did and this left me in a good humour.
Sunday roast came next crammed full of carbs and 2 glasses of Wine to finish the day off in style!!
And here I am with a perfect reading.
And I did nowt yesterday.

Good morning y'all and happy Monday , a waking 11 for me (again) so I'm sulking a little but will find the right adjustments as I go along (he says in a hoping voice ) but apart from that some fool's forgot to press go on the washing machine which is a bit of a nuisance

Onwards and downwards ...
 
@Japes Ditto! Just spent 3 nights and 4 days at the bird fair on a stand. Apart from exhaustion, I am longing for simple low carb food. Lots of veg and plain fish. I made the decision to not get hung up on having little choice. Had 3 hotel picnics and breakfasts and a grab whatever I could lunch. Although I had taken lots of salad and nuts you can only keep things for so long. Ironically my levels throughout the day were good. But because we were eating late they shot up during the night requiring extra injections. At home we eat 2 meals a day. An early, simple breakfast and a meal about 3pm. Oh, and boy am I looking forwards to hot food.

I have made a slight booby wooby slight mix up with the time my appointment is for 09.40

I’d rather be early though

Happy Monday indeed, I had my standard 2.5u, dropped to 7.9 before rising to 8.9 and sitting there, which is odd, I've checked the pen and it appears ok so I've changed the cartridge and had another 2.5u as I'm hungry, very odd and I can't explain it.
 
Morning. Just accidentally took 7 units of Levemir, instead of 5, as the morning dose. Not a problem that can't be solved with extra food, but a bit annoying. Since I switched to Levemir I've managed to avoid automaton mode, but I switched into it there.

Repeat to myself, think before injecting.
